Dr. Hiram Rivas Perez presents COPD by first discussing pulmonary function tests, the epidemiology and pathophysiology of COPD, and its diagnosis. He then discusses management from stable COPD to COPD exacerbation as well as additional therapies and lung cancer screening.

Hiram Rivas Perez, M.D. 

Dr. Perez is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Louisville. His clinical expertise involves plumonary, critical care medicine, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, asthma and pulmonary rehabilitation. He completed medical school at the University of Puerto Rico, his residency at the University of Puerto Rico Hospital and his fellowship at the Ohio State University.
