Jennifer Hockenbury, MD

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Norton Children’s Medical Group / University of Louisville School of Medicine

Dr. Jenny Hockenbury is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended medical school at the University of Louisville, followed by a Pediatrics Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is completing her Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Louisville, where she also completed a Masters Certificate in the Business of Healthcare.


Her academic interests include the patient and family experience and healthcare operations/quality improvement. In addition to her clinical and educational roles, she is passionate about advancing health communication and child safety education through creative initiatives as a children’s book author and business owner. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their black lab, Mo.

Elizabeth Lehto is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician practicing in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended medical school at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale Arizona. She completed her Pediatrics residency and Pediatrics Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville. Her areas of interest include injury prevention, food insecurity, and adolescent health. In her free time, she enjoys crochet and exploring new places with her two children.
