Elizabeth Lehto, D.O.
Pediatric Emergency Medicine Lecture Series Lead
Dr. Lehto is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician practicing in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, before completing her Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville.
Her academic and clinical interests include injury prevention, food insecurity, adolescent health, and medical education. Through her work, she strives to equip trainees with the knowledge and skills needed to care for children in emergency settings while also encouraging a broader awareness of the social determinants of health that impact pediatric patients.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys crocheting and exploring new places with her two children.
